Starting Rice Cereal
Isabelle's almost five months now, so about a week ago we decided to introduce a little bit of rice cereal into her diet. If anything, we just wanted her to start learning how to eat from a spoon. I don't know how much of it actually made it to her stomach, since most of it was on her face! However, we're going to stick with it so I'm sure she'll get the hang of it. She doesn't act like she loves it, but I don't think she hates it either. I think she's holding out for the good stuff! She looks so tiny sitting in her high chair, but she looks like such a big girl sitting there too!

St. Patrick's Day and Danielle's Visit
Last Tuesday, my very good friend Danielle was in town and we got to spend some time with her. It was a short visit, but we really enjoyed seeing her and I was so glad she got to meet our little Isabelle. We went out to lunch and ate Mexican...not corned beef and cabbage! There is some Irish blood on Jeremy's side, but the extent of our celebrating was wearing a shamrock headband and putting a leprechaun hat on Isabelle! In any case, it was a nice visit and made me miss ALL my friends that live far away : (

Our Little Movie Star
I couldn't resist getting Isabelle these little sunglasses the other day. She actually likes wearing them, she doesn't pull them off or anything. I tell her she looks like a little movie star. Maybe she has a future in the movies. Whatever she chooses to pursue, we will love and support her. I know the Lord has great plans for sweet Isabelle, and we pray she will follow His leading always.

4 months old!
Silly Girl!
This is Isabelle's mad face
As of March 1st, our little Isabelle is 4 months old. She had her checkup today and her shots as well :( She really did great though. Isabelle now weighs 12 lbs 6 oz and is 23 1/2 inches long. She is in the 25th percentile for both height and weight. The doctor says she looks great and is growing at a good pace for her. Her little peanut head is only in the 10th percentile! She's gained 2 lbs and 2 inches since her last visit at 2 months old. This month she's really started reaching out and grabbing her toys. She's definitely a pro at holding her head up now as well. We put her exersaucer together a couple weeks ago and she loves it. Her feet don't quite touch the bottom yet, but she still likes to sit in it and play with her toys. We love our little girl so much and are so thankful for her. Please continue to keep our baby girl in your prayers as she continues to grow and thrive.
We'd also like to mention that our very good friends Tim and Heather Asimos welcomed their baby boy into the world today!! Congratulations Tim and Heather on the arrival of your precious Mason James.

We're Ready for Summer!
Isabelle's first bikini....I couldn't resist!
I know we're in no position to complain much about weather since we generally have pretty nice weather here in Myrtle Beach. However, we have had a colder than normal winter this year and we are so ready for summer to arrive!! We're really looking forward to having our first summer with Isabelle. I can't wait to put on her bikini and take her to the beach and the pool. We will definitely have to invest in some major sunblock, especially for that little bald head of hers! Hopefully the warmer temperatures will arrive soon!
