MLK 2010

MLK 2009

MLK 2010 ....what a difference a year makes!

Fun at the park

Group outing at the mall food court!

Girls day out - lunch at Cheesecake Factory then a movie

This year we had our MLK get together at the Kaluka's home in Cary, NC. As our group continues to grow our gatherings have definitely changed, but they're so much fun! We had a lot of people under one roof, including 4 toddlers! Amazingly there was no major issues and we all had a really great time. We had a girls afternoon out while the guys stayed with the kids, and the guys had a night out by themselves too. Sunday, we ventured out to the mall as a group. It's so neat that our kids are growing up together. Thank you Jesse and Miranda for hosting...we had a blast!

Little Momma

She started out with just one doll

She's feeding her baby a bottle

Then she steals her baby's pacifier and the babies have multiplied!

This is her "loving" on her baby

Lately, Isabelle LOVES playing with her dolls. She loves to feed them bottles, pat on their backs, and give them hugs. On this particular day, she climbed up into her recliner with her doll and wanted ALL of her dolls up there too! I just think it's so funny because she's just a baby herself who still takes drinks bottles and sucks on pacifiers, yet she likes to take care of her babies and give them their bottles and pacifiers. The women's Bible study I attend just started a new program for kids under two to attend while their mommies are in their classes. Since Isabelle is walking some, but not a totally independent walker yet, she is grouped with the real little babies instead of the toddlers. Every time I go to pick her up, they tell me how she's the leader of the pack in her group. She's the little mommy and the teachers' helper who goes around and helps take care of all the little babies. She is just too funny.
