We had a wonderful Easter this year. Izzy woke up Easter morning and found her basket and some eggs hidden in the house. Next, we went to church and there was an awesome service and it was more packed than I had ever seen it! After that, we headed home for an Easter egg hunt and a delicious meal with Jill, Robert, lil Robert, Karli, Tanner and Jeremy's mom Mary. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we all really enjoyed ourselves. I hope as Isabelle gets older she really grasps the importance and true meaning of Easter beyond the eggs and candy.

Big Girl Bed!
We had three goals we wanted to accomplish before baby boy arrives in July. First and foremost was to get Isabelle potty trained. It was a very gradual process, but for the last several months she is pretty much all the way potty trained, except she does still wear diapers for nap and to sleep at night. She has done really great with her potty training with very few accidents and we are so proud of her. Next, we wanted her to be transitioned into a real bed. We considered converting her crib to a toddler bed first, but since it would require us buying a conversion kit to go to a toddler bed then to a full size bed later, we decided to just skip the toddler bed. We were a little nervous about the change and didn't know what to expect at all. I had visions in my mind of her jumping on her bed all night long! Izzy learned the hard way a few months ago to not climb out of her crib anymore, so simply telling her not to climb out of her bed actually worked well. Her very first night in her bed she rolled around for a little bit then went right off to sleep! The next day we had to try a nap in her bed. At first she was up walking around on her bed, but after going in and telling her it was time for a nap and she had to lay down to go to sleep, she calmed down and quickly went to sleep. It has only been two days in her big girl bed, but I think she is transitioning very well. We are so proud of her for being such a good girl and sleeping in her new bed. Next goal...getting rid of the passy...prayers needed for that one!

24 weeks
Wow, 6 months pregnant already!! We had an appointment a couple days ago, and everything looks really good. I've been packing on the pounds, so I'll have to be a little more careful! It's been different this pregnancy because I've been so hungry ALL the time! I've been feeling really good lately, but still pretty tired. I'm ready to get more energy. I think I'm more tired this time, because in addition to working, I have a 2 1/2 year old to chase around! We're starting to get things organized for the baby's room, slowly but surely. All in all, things are going well and we're so thankful.

Nastics! (aka gymnastics)
Izzy started gymnastics a couple months ago and she loves it. I hear the phrase "Izzy go nastics?" several times throughout the week. It's a really cute program. Since they are so young, the mothers join them and we start out by letting them have free play on the equipment. Next, they have to sit down on a "dot" and then they get a stamp on their foot. Then they are led by their teacher Miss Kim with their stretches and then a song that they dance along with. Usually after that they learn a skill and they each have to do it for their teacher to get a stamp on the other foot. Before they leave they get to do the bubble song where they chase after bubbles while the song is playing. Lastly, they all get on their bellies and do the bye bye song and the teacher goes around and says bye bye to all the kids by name. This specific day when these pics were taken was sort of a free day where instead of doing a skill she blew up a bouncy house for them to play on. Isabelle has a lot of fun with gymnastics and we'll continue it as long as she likes it!

20 weeks!!!
Halfway there! The last couple of weeks I've been feeling great. My pleurisy healed up and I have more energy. I'm starting to feel the weight at work, by the end of the day my back, legs and feet are sore. Otherwise, everything is going well. Today we had our anatomy ultrasound. We prayed for everything to be normal and our prayers were answered. The baby looked great and all of his organs and measurements were perfect. The baby was cooperative and we were able to see some really great shots of him. We are so thankful to the Lord for our healthy baby boy.

Valentine's Day 2011
Here's pictures we took before church on Sunday before Valentine's Day. We all wore red, how corny are we?! We went to lunch at Olive Garden as a family a few days before since I had to work on Valentine's Day. However, Jeremy and Isabelle joined me for lunch at work which totally made my day. I love my family SOOO much and definitely don't need a holiday to remind me of that, but it definitely reminds me of how blessed I am.
